The Villa De Aqua standard
Every villa in the collection is held to one standard, whether we own it or a partner does. This is what that standard means, in plain terms.
Safety
- Main pools are 4.5 ft deep. Kids' pools, where a villa has one, are 2.5 ft deep.
- Pools are private and unsupervised: no diving, and children must be with an adult.
- Every villa is walled and gated, so the grounds are yours alone.
- CCTV coverage and a first-aid kit at every villa.
- A caretaker is on the premises throughout your stay.
Hygiene
- Pool hygiene is checked before every stay.
- Fresh bed linen, pillows and towels for every booking.
- Toiletries provided in every bathroom.
- Kitchens and bathrooms cleaned and checked before check-in.
Hosting
- A caretaker and chef on site. Home-style meals on request, billed at reasonable rates.
- Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 Noon. Early or late times can be arranged in advance.
- One WhatsApp number for everything before and during your stay.
Audited before listing, re-checked after
- No villa joins the collection without passing the same audit: pool, safety, cleanliness, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking and staff.
- Audits are repeated, and guest feedback after every stay feeds the villa's quality score.
- A villa that falls below the standard is fixed or removed from the collection.
Clear charges, no surprises
- Extra beds: ₹1,000 per extra bed (a villa can host up to about 30% more guests than its standard capacity).
- Pets: ₹1,000 per pet, with prior notice. Pets are not allowed in the pool.
- Air conditioning in halls and lounges is included for 8 hours a day; beyond that, electricity is charged.
- Your quote lists every charge before you pay.
House rules
The same rules at every villa, sent with every booking confirmation.
- Check-in from 2:00 PM. Check-out by 12:00 Noon unless early check-in or late check-out is arranged in advance.
- The booked headcount is the occupancy limit. Extra guests need prior confirmation and are charged ₹1,000 per extra bed/guest. Visitors staying more than 2 hours are considered an extra guest.
- Air conditioning in halls and lounges (where applicable) is limited to 8 hours per day, beyond which additional EB charges apply.
- For villas equipped with a kitchenette, only reheating and light cooking (such as baby food) is allowed — full cooking is not permitted unless agreed upfront, which may attract extra charges.
- The private pool is unsupervised. No diving. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Quiet hours are 11:00 PM–7:00 AM out of respect for neighbours.
- No smoking indoors. Only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
- No fireworks, open flames on the lawn, or DJ setups unless agreed in writing.
- Pets are welcome only at villas marked pet-friendly, and only with prior notice. Each pet is charged ₹1,000. Pets are not allowed in the pool.
- Damage beyond normal wear is chargeable. Please report anything broken at check-in.
- The caretaker and chef are on site to host you — meal timings are agreed on arrival.
